Sahl-Hasheesh extends around a natural bay with beautiful beaches and stunning coral reefs. The shoreline hotels and apartments are linked to the “Old Town” by a paved promenade. Beyond the pier is the “sunken city” created to provide extra interest for divers.

The Old Town area and Piazza are approximately 2 miles from Ocean Breeze - linked by the promenade you can walk, hire bikes or just use the shuttle service. The beach and pools at Palm Beach Piazza are also available to residents of Ocean Breeze so you can enjoy a meal or drink in the friendly restaurant there.

Plenty of options – we have used ProDivers and they will pick you up from Ocean Breeze if you’re going out on a dive boat etc. We’ve also been to Sharm el Naga which is a taxi ride away.

The reef right by Ocean Breeze provides perfect snorkelling with some lagoon areas with sandy sea bed to get you started or pop over the reef and be amazed. Just out to sea from the Piazza you’ll see the remnants of an old jetty – this can be reached from the public beach or from Il Gusto beach – some great marine life on and around the derelict legs of the pier. Watch out for the odd sharp rusty bits!

ProDivers are located to one side of Premier Romance Hotel.

The closest are the Italian & Mexican at The Tropitel Hotel right next to Ocean Breeze. Premier La Reve (pronounced Reef) also has a selection of restaurants but this is an adult only hotel so not an option with children. Then it’s on towards the Old Town – The Baron Palace opened last year and offers a wide range of excellent restaurants. As you arrive in the Old Town area just before the Piazza is Palm Beach – these apartments are owned by the same firm that built Ocean Breeze & also El Andalous (further down the promenade) and as a guest at Ocean Breeze you are able to use the pools and beach facilities here too. The Piazza Restaurant is very good value and a handy place to get a beer or coffee.

Further along the promenade look for Il Gusto – main restaurant on the town side of the road, beach bar on the sea side. Good food, drink and cocktails here. They have a private beach but if you’r e planning on a spending some time it’s worth considering as they provide towels, waiter service and a good range of seating /parasol etc.

Premier Romance is the sister hotel to Premier La Reve, located in the Old Town they have a choice of restaurants and coffee bar.

Chris and Haytham of HTS will be happy to organise day trips locally, The Marina is worth a trip with a good range of restaurants including a very good Indian! They will also take you to Luxor and Valley of The Kings or arrange internal flights and guided trips to Cairo if required.
